Petite Thing

Being under 5 feet I have to work really hard to stay in shape. I am all extremities, legs and arms and have basically no torso. Unfortunately I carry ALL of my weight in my middle, my legs and arms are sticks, while my stomach is bludgy and very round.
I am hoping for health reasons to lose weight in my middle and build muscle tone in my arms and legs. I am realizing how important muscle mass is and I am trying to lower my body fat percentage and raise my muscle mass, no more stick legs ...

I have been a vegetarian my entire life and I occasionally follow a complete vegan diet. My food staples are apples, blackberries, blueberries, rice cakes, almond milk and Kashi/Lara snack bars!!
I also can whip up fantastic vegan cupcakes, my speciality!

I am currently training for the Good Life Marathon on May 17th! I am very nervous, but also extremely excited!

Thanks for the suggestion about rice cakes on my post. What a great alternative for gluten free. This is a great choice for my husband.

Hi good luck with your up coming 1/2 Im running Chilly 1/2 around the Bay & Toronto Goodlife

Im training outdoors all through winter when its really bad I run on Treadmill
