It's now 2014 so I guess it's time for an update since I'm renewing my weight loss journey after becoming one of "those" people... you know, the ones that drop a bunch of weight and then over time gain it back.

I lost 50 pounds in 2011 by eating healthy foods and working out at the gym. By the end of 2013 I had gained back all but 10 pounds though. Several things lead to the gain... health issues, family health issues, stress, major changes at work, and a whole lot of excuses. I am an emotional eater... I eat when I'm happy or sad or mad or stressed. I also have a tendency to get lazy... because I tend to forget how much better I feel when I'm exercising regularly.

In 2014, I hope to find a better way to deal with stress, etc. so I can lose the weight and keep it off this time!

My Goals:
Get healthier
* Lower BP
* Lower Cholesterol
* Lower Weight
* Lower BMI

I am not sure what the magic number will be for me, because I still want to have some curves! I just want to get to a healthier weight to lessen my health risks... and I want to feel comfortable in my own skin.

I am doing it the old fashioned way... eating healthy and exercising!
