I have been on Sparks since the beginning of 2008, and I am so consumed with all the information.
My goal is to be healthy and share the Good New of Christ in my daily life struggles. I have found that so many people are hurting including myself for one reason or another you are not in the best of health, your light (light for Christ) is dim. We can't remain in darkness and the only way out is through Jesus Christ.

We can't remain in darkness and the only way out is through Jesus Christ.
When I log in my calories and fitness readings, I find that I am more accountable.
Because I come from of family of givers, I found that it was hard ot take care of myself. I was always putting the needs of other before myself until I had a revelation from the Lord. He loves me, so why shouldn't I love me. Not to be self-centerd, but to see my body as.
the temple of Christ
As I go about this next phase of my life, I would like to be able to play with my grandchildren without being tired and exhausted. I would like to dance in the Spirit without getting winded and tired. With taking care of this temple, I know I can be in good health as my soul prospers.

“Courage is not the absence of despair; it is, rather the capacity to move ahead in spite of despair.”
—Rollo May

Some days we wake up to overwhelming feelings that things look bleak. We see loss and danger around us, and we fear for the future. That is when our character is most tested. That is when we are called to continue to just put one foot in front of the other. There is no need to solve all our problems right away or to change the world immediately. Courage isn’t necessarily a feeling of confidence that we can triumph over all odds. It’s knowing that we can move ahead one step at a time, and it’s taking positive action in the face of our fears.
Each day we can do small things that are constructive. By these small things, we can place ourselves on the positive side of life’s equation. We can put our weight where we want to go. That is courage.
Today, in the face of my despair, I will focus my efforts on the side of my hopes and values

I just wanted to share my morning devotions with you today

When you make a change, you make a difference.

emoticon Every transformation starts a dream.

emoticon Goals give you the ability to be self-directed and in control.

emoticon You have the power to change, and no one can take that
away!

emoticon Life gives you the choice...either learn to overcome
challenges or succumb to them.

emoticon Your success is giving others hope they too have the
power to change.

The more we work together, the more we can succeed! emoticon

Sometimes the healthiest thing I can do for myself is to admit that I am not perfect. I am human. I make mistakes. Today I will have the courage to look the truth in the face, admit my errors and achievements, appreciate my growth. and make amends where I have done harm. I will not attempt to manage or control what is beyond my powers. I will dedicate myself to managing my own life, and only mine.

There is only one corner of the world you can be sure of improving.and that is your own self.

As I look at my fitness, nutrition and personal goals, I seek progress not perfection. I admit I am not perfect, but I am making positive changes and I rejoice in my growth as I seek to eliminate my character defects. Strength comes from facing adversity and not giving in, not surrendering, not giving up.
