UPDATE: finding spark recipes full of sugars and I'm a type I diabetic so still searching for a place that uses the glycemic LOAD for foods and eliminates MSG (all kinds) I know I will find it or create it :)

In the mountains in the Colorado/ Wyoming area at 8500 feet,
this is where I live and eat.
I love music set with poetry
but novels are still a favorite to me.

Other Information:
 I love to write novels and poetry as well as reading it. I love taking pictures and painting and I do crocheting to keep my hands busy but get bored with the same patterns and colors! HUMOR is great!

We've had a half inch of rain here and there this month and the temps have cooled down to the 90's most days. The fields have turned green but aren't long enough to bale yet. We're hoping that we might get a second cutting in October. Sure need it.

Hi Hon. It's been crazy around here for the last week. My mare, Gypsy Rose, quit eating on Sunday and it took until Wednesday night to get the vet out here. It seems that she either has a bad tooth or a mouth ulcer. At least that's what we're guessing. It could be the high heat we were having but that quit yesterday. Temps are now only in the '90's instead of 105 range. Now I'm giving her antibiotics and washing her mouth out with the hose. That's fun. She is being a doll about all the fuss but she's still not eating. I'm hoping she'll eat this morning. We'll see.

So sorry to hear about your tumors. Hope they are not painful.

Still hoping for more rain. Haven't even gotten a second cutting of hay yet. It's going to be a bad winter around here.

Just checking in to see how you are doing with your goals and getting round SP. Just remember dieting is just like life - there are always ups and downs and different paths. Don't get discourage emoticon .

It's good to know you are doing ok. We finally had some rain night before last and then again yesterday afternoon . Not a gentle rain but at least it was wet. I'm curious to see if our fields will green up again. Right now, they are as brown as they are in the dead of Winter. I'm just hoping the roots are still alive. Lots of bare ground out there.

Hi Winna, Just got back from North Carolina visiting my son and his family. My youngest grandbaby just graduated from high school. She is just the greatest 17 year old.

Thank you so much for the hot tub. We are so dry here in Arkansas that if it were a real one, I'd probably have to use the water to water my donks. We got a first cutting on my hay in May but if we don't get any rain, we might not get a second cutting.
