I am a member and co-leader of the Lost A Loved One group. I read your heartfelt post that you left on the huddle wall from the Grandpas and Grandmas group that we both belong to. My deepest sympathy and sorrow reach out to you during this very difficult time of continued grief. I am sending my condolences to you in the loss of your beloved husband, David. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I truly understand what you are going through from the loss of my soulmate/husband over 2 year ago from Lung cancer. I wish I could take away the sadness that you are going through. I am hoping the following poem may bring you an inner peace that you and David are forever connected by an invisible string from eternal heart to earthly heart.

I'm Gone now, but I'm still very near.
    Death can never separate us.
Each time you feel a gentle breeze,
It's my hand caressing your face.
    Each time the wind blows,
It carries my voice whispering your name.
When the wind blows your hair ever so slightly,
Think of it as me pushing a few stray hairs back in place.
When you feel a few raindrops fall on your face,
    It's me placing soft kisses.
At night look up in the sky and see the stars shining so brightly.
I'm one of those stars and I'm winking at you and smiling with delight.
For never forget you're the apple of my eye.
