It's just been recently that I ran across the phrase "Not my circus, not my monkey's" for the first time and I can guarantee you that it has become my mantra!!

Good luck with the wedding!

did you come through the storm ok? It was certainly the day long topic for the news stations, but seems like it didn't amount to much down here. I lugged all the potted plants in, and today i get to lug them all out again.

Should be a wearisome day.

Going to wander off and get a cup of coffee, read the paper and do the crossword before I get started! Have a great day!

Thanks for that massage goodie...I'm imagining it right now...ahhhh! I will admit to being momentarily discouraged, but it didn't last long...no sense, it's not like it would have done a bit of good! We're this side of the dirt so it's all good!

You've certainly had enough storms and threatening storms - it's good you've got it figured out how to batten down the hatches. Grilled pizza sounds like a decent way to rough it!

Our damaging storm was June 3rd. It basically damaged everything outside that we owned. We already got two new windshields installed and the new roof on the house. A few screens have been replaced and taillights on the flatbed trailer. We're waiting on special order siding for the house and a couple windows. My SUV was so damaged and even though only 2 years old, they gave US the choice of whether to have almost all new body panels installed or to total it! Fixing in this case was the better option so it goes into the shop on July 23rd.

The hail was baseball sized and the town looked like a warzone. One of our friends in a country upscale housing development got it far worse, the hail broke all the way through and they had ceiling and water damage inside the house...eek~!~ I'm thankful we didn't have inside damage.

Stay safe with all your storms!
