Welcome!
I've never been on a diet before, since I believe in exercise more, but Spark really works. It has healthy principles and teaches you how to keep off the weight you're shedding without going hungry or avoiding certain foods. I've already lost 4.5kg since the end of July without having to give up anything important to me. I feel healthier and better informed. All of us should be glad to be part of such a successful community!

My Goals:
Goals:

Losing weight to reach my pre-first year in grad school weight
Staying fit
Eating healthy foods and making sure my diet includes all the vitamins and minerals


My Program:
Count calories using calorie tracker (and getting upset when my internet connection fails)
Exercising - especially walking and hiking, Since Cornell is mostly hills, this is fortunately not too hard (you have to climb up and down several hills just to get from one destination to another)
Avoiding the bus
Trying to get more water and fruit into my diet

Interests - ancient history, archaeology, computer games (quest, adventure and city building), travelling, foreign languages... hope I haven't forgotten something important
