I'm really tired of always being on some sort of diet. I've spent too many years going from diet to diet, getting discouraged and starting another diet the next day. Most of my life has been consumed by diets and not able to do the things I would like because my self esteem is non existent. This time, I'm ready. I'm ready to get this lifestyle change started once again. I haven't been on this site for a long time, but some recent events have changed my attitude and my life. I am ready to make a change and stop spending my life alone.

My Goals:

I am the Walking, Walking, Walking leader. I've been ill and am sorry I didn't welcome you immediately!! However, I hope you have seen the special goals you can use.

tracking blood sugar two times a day

The team would love if you participate in the games etc. That's a good way to get to know some of us.

As I recover, I will try to be more active as a leader. The rest of the team kind of leads itself because they know how important keeping track of blood sugar is and losing weight in a healthy manner. Walking is the emphasis here. I lost 75 pounds when I was active. I have only gained back 10.

When I start again, I plan to lose the same way. I watch the carbs..not eliminate them, I make sure I have protein, and my hardest...fiber. I don't like green foods. That makes it hard, but I am controlling my bs using my brain and metformin. :) I find that walking is the best ....brings down bs, makes me healthier, and makes me happy.....

I am a rambler....sorry
