I just want to be able to walk around at the drag race strip and enjoy myself instead of having to sit the whole time because I am too fat to move.
I am eating low carb. I know this is sometimes a controversial meal plan, but I am a diabetic and carbs make my blood sugar go extremely high, so I must limit my carbs to under 50 per day. I do this with my doctors approval and help. If you are thinking about following my food plan - please talk with your doctor first.
My real name is Kathy and I live in southern West Virginia. My husband and I are child free. I am a 1970 model - just like my husbands favorite car - his Chevelle!
I have had a personal weight loss site for many years- you might like it - it is www.wildkat781.com
hey Wildkat, Welcome to the 55 plus ladies group. Stop by and chat with us. We want to get to know you and you to know us. We all need help and encouragement along the way to our goals and maybe you will help us and we can help you. Can't wait to see progress for all of us on the team.
So nice to hear from you and I know you will join us when you can. I had a bad week last week, went out to eat every day. grrrrrrrrrr It is my fault, but no matter how I try I fall backwards. Have you considered watching your sodium count? I know after the age of 50 you should keep your sodium at 1500 mg and that is by so many doctors. When I do that (trust me it is not an easy task) I lose weight. I don't have salt in my house, I wasn't brought up using it, so I thought it would be a piece of cake. HA....my first day counting sodium it was 4500 mg, boy was that a wake up call. Take care and I will always be there for you. Bev
I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but it would not let me. First of all you never let anyone down but yourself. Remember it is only a number and you did it before and you can do it again. If the chocolate covered almonds are a trigger food, DO NOT BUY THEM. My trigger food is chips of any kind and I have to hold back from grabbing a bag. On team women +55 we are still waiting for you, you will get so much support. Meds can really mess you up, so be careful. Bev
