Thanks for dropping by. I wish I had bought one years ago now but I am glad your Son finds it so beneficial as well. As for the French, if I don't keep it up I think it quite likely that I will forget so much I might have to go back and revise and I'd rather not do that. emoticon

Thank you so much for your prayers! Our power did stay on, and Ian is resting comfortably after the surgery this morning. So glad we were able to get it done. Happy Valentine's Day and weekend!

I see that you are a member of the SP Class of October 3-9, 2010 Team. I just became a team leader for this group. I started sparkpeople.com on the 3rd of October, 2010. I was wondering if you are still active on SP and if yes, can we be friends? I'd like to help you keep accountable. And of course, have your support as well. Have a SPARKly day!

There were a couple of times when I worked at Big Lots that I thought we might have to stay over night. The manager was able to get my son and me home. We had people coming in to buy snow shovels, but we had sold out of them. There were 4 people that showed up for work including the manager and I doubt the store made enough money to pay the workers that day.

At Christmas, there were night crews stocking and I always preferred working without any customers in the store.
