Aligning my actions with my purposes

Hi!
In 2009 I lost 22kg and have maintained for 2.5 years but 3kg have crept on and I've decided it's time to lose those 3, plus the 11 I've wanted to lose but couldn't be bothered too.

I'm not really into exercising at the moment. I haven't found something that I enjoy and will make the time for. I take the stairs and walk when I can, 'incidental exercise' more than official workouts.

I'm into healthy eating in a big way but I also binge on unhealthy foods. I am trying to find some balance as I have been very rigid in the past and rigidity doesn't work for me.

My Goals:
I want to go from 68kg to 54kg this year. Obviously I want that magic 1kg a week loss, but I really just want the weight off for keeps and if it takes 4, 6, 8 months, then I'll still be happy and grateful and proud.

My Program:
I am making healthy choices, weighing and measuring my food and counting my calories. I run a little and do some Pilates and yoga, but I am not very consistent with this. I used to spin a lot and am thinking about getting back into this.

Thanks for adding me, and for the comment on my blog about talking to my husband about my weight loss. :) I love what you wrote in one of your blogs about "mouth hunger" and not wanting to stop eating and maybe using it as a method of denial and "resting in the pleasure zone." I struggle with that too, but I never thought about it in those words...and you're SO right on. Thanks for posting that! Definitely something for me to reflect on further.

I agree, greek yogurt is yummy! Try it with some high fiber cereal mixed in and it is delish!

As soon as I saw your comment on my blog I took some deep breaths of relaxation :) Thanks for the tip! The weight lifting class at my school is nice, but it is also really hard! I was a longer distance runner before I started the class so I had burned most of my muscle away. When I started this class last year, I was one of the weakest ones and now I am the strongest! Just proves what hard work can do... and sweat... buckets full of sweat. I am sure my class after the weight lifting class REALLY appreciates it :P
