Hey! How's it going? I had a very bad week... worst in a long time. It was Thanksgiving and I got really homesick, which threw off my mood & my motivation for the whole week. I am seeing the sunnier side of things now, finally! I am going to run today and tomorrow, and will touch base with you on Sun or Mon re: next week.

How was your week? I had a bad run on Thursday, but I tried! Got a cramp in my side that kept recurring... but I still managed to run for about 35 minutes in total, with some walking to try and ease the cramp. My goal is to go for 45 today! It's Thanksgiving this weekend up here in the GWN (great white north) so I'm not sure my scale will be kind on Monday... it went down a bit this week (I weigh daily), but up again this AM cuz we had a big party here last night. Ah well. I will NOT go overboard at Turkey Dinner on Sunday! (But we also have oodles of leftover cheesecake in the fridge... yikes!) I'll update my next week's goals on Monday. :) More running in my future! 2293 days ago
It's amazing to look back and think that I was trying to achieve the first goal I had set. I actually COULD have done it if I would have been more persistant. I'm still not even at my second goal of 124#, but I'm happy with today.
I bought a dress yesterday for the wedding today (yeah, I'm alway a last minute shopper - didn't get the gift 'till yesterday too:) and the size small was too big, so I ended up with an extra small. It's a smidge tight around my hips, but looks good, so I was thrilled. :) It sure makes all the hard work worth it!!
So starting tomorrow I'm going to jump back on the wagon (today I'll eat wedding food and wedding cake:) AND I'm really going to focus on exercise too. I passed up running a 10K this morning and I'm forcing myself to start running routinely again to be ready for the next one. I can't keep giving up these opportunities. :)
