I am a baby boomer who wants to be healthy and happy. I retired in September 2012. I have had a weight problem most of my adult life. I have tried Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig and many other diet plans. I have come to realize that what I needed was a lifestyle change.

Personal Information:
I began my journey to a healthier lifestyle 1 year ago. I have taken off 67 pounds to date. I have gone from no exercise to at least 20 min of exercise 6 days a week.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. The quitting smoking was a breeze compared to losing weight. You still have to eat, where smoking you just throw them away and that's it.

Thank you for commenting on my blog "Sync spot is back online. Wish my ankle would do the same now". I did some research and it can take a few weeks to recover so I'm following RICE and stretching. Once things start on the road of recovery, I will get back to strength training at least and then slowly add cardio back in. I'm thinking maybe I need to mix things up in that arena.
