Why ever not?

I'm a 20-something post-bacc student living in Ohio, working on my pre-requisites for graduate school. I love: my cats, my boyfriend, my horse, reading, writing, photography, running, riding, veterinary work.
I'm just enough overweight to be between sizes, and can't fit into my jeans. I want to be more fit, more toned, and healthier.

I read your comments about "home-grown" meats.. THANK YOU!! I am totally fed up with factory farming practices and i am completely disgusted with the "real cost" of food chain food... LOCAL is good for everyone!! Just wish I had more power to change the ugly ways of our world... emoticon

I'm so impressed that you are serious about losing weight before it got out of hand. I know its frustrated when you feel like you've done everything right, but sometimes the body needs to be challenged by switching up your diet and workout routine. I'm so happy to see your continued success.

Thanks for the comment on my blog post. At first I was a little irritated that they hadn't set me up to meet my goal, but then I was like, "wait. 2 pounds a week is a LOT. It's 104 pounds a year, and I'm not really in a hurry."

So yeah, a little slower is fine... as long as it's progress in the right direction.
