Another NEW YEAR and I'm half way to GOAL!!!
Life isn't always going to work out as planned, so time for a back up plan. Time to take care of ME and not everyone else for once! You may think this sounds very encouraging, or very witchy! Probably a little of both. After being betrayed beyond belief by my husband of 7 years, I realize that I am better than all of that. And I will never know what tomorrow is going to bring. So....time to get healthy and HOT!!! For ME!!! I have fluctuated between 160lbs and 205lbs in the past ...

Probably a little of both. After being betrayed beyond belief by my husband of 7 years, I realize that I am better than all of that. And I will never know what tomorrow is going to bring. So....time to get healthy and HOT!!! For ME!!! I have fluctuated between 160lbs and 205lbs in the past 8 years! I am currently holding steady at 160-164, and I want to break through that plateau. I am wearing mostly size 11/12 jeans (darn women's sizing...still wearing some 13/14 and few 15/16!). My goal is to be below 160 by Christmas, and ultimately reach 140 and wear a size 7/8. I do have a few roadblocks to deal with. Besides these bouts of depression and anxiety I have been dealing with, I also suffer from PCOS, adenomyosis, and infertility. Hoping to overcome some of these, at least emotionally. Sorry if it sounds like I'm a downer. I'm really a very nice person, just one who is going through a very rough time right now. Please feel free to add me if you have similar goals, similar stories, or just want a friend!

My Goals:
Ultimate goal is to reach 140lbs. I would like to achieve this by June 1, 2012. But I'm flexible! As long as I keep becoming healthier, happier and hotter, I'm good with it! LOL
My Program:
Lower-carb, but not low-carb. Lots of water. Start running. 4/4/12- weighed in at 166.2! Set some new goals: 4/23/12- 160 lb (first day of new job!) 5/13/12- 155lb (Mother's Day!) 6/22/12- 150lbs (Aberdeen trip!) 8/25/12- 145lbs (Indians vs Yankees!) 9/29/12- 140lbs (Relay Marathon!)

My name's Amanda. I live in east-central Ohio. I turned 30 this year (EEEK!!!) and have been married for 7 years. No kiddos of our own, but I do have an 11yo stepson. I'm a 911 dispatcher and love my job, although it involves sitting on my butt for 8-12 hours a day! Not many hobbies... reading, facebooking, etc. Wanting to pick up some more healthy, outdoor hobbies. Have gone hiking a few times, and enjoyed it. Also bought bikes so we can ride. I've got three dogs that I can't imagine living without! They are my babies!
