That is so funny what your husband says about teenagers because I learned something similar. When my oldest daughter was about 14 I thought I would loose my mind. She was all over the place. My boss, who was the father of 6 and who's youngest was 14 took me to lunch one day. He said he believed that when they turn 13 something starts eating away at their brains. It's not fatal. By the time they turn 18 the brain begins to heal and they are fully restored by about 25. I clung to those words for many years. When the 2nd turned 13 I said - just go to your room, you're 13. The 3rd - the daughter who disliked Tom because he could see through her sneakiness - was the greatest challenge but she is now the one most likely to be there for me when I need her! Life happens in strange ways, doesn't it!

I hope your husband is doing better. Am praying for him!

Oh my, your husband does sound just like mine. I'm always amazed at how easily he can fit in with any group of any age or background. He took a couple of college classes this winter and the whole class just adored him! We have been married for 21 years and sometimes it's been rocky trying to blend families but we muddled through and I, too, feel very blessed! Thanks for sharing your story.

Just saw your other post. I have to admit, I'm not too good about walking Daisy when the weather turns bad. In the summer if I get out early enough it's bearable. This year I made myself bundle up, put on hiking boots, and I'd take her out for a short walk at least twice a week but ONLY if it was at least 20 degrees. If it's a rainy day, she has to settle for the back yard while I'm standing in the garage doorway!!!

Thanks for the goodie and commenting on my dear one's movie debut. He's just a smoozer - he talks to people while we're waiting in line, or when we're out shopping, wherever we are. He likes people! We used to ride the same bus home from work and he always was talking to someone - that's how we met!!!

Hope your husband is doing better! I'm including the two of you in my prayers!
