The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. Psalm 145:14

The Jesus Prayer helps to lift the whole life, body and soul, to a level where the senses and imagination no longer seek for outward change or stimulation, where all is subordinated to the one aim of centering the whole attention of body and soul upon God, in the sense that the world is sought and known in the beauty of God, not God in the beauty of the world. - Mother Maria of Normanby

Sorry to hear you've been sick - hope you're feeling better. I imagine snowflakes in Lexington, KY is rather rare for April... not so much for Minnesota. But it's challenging - one day it's 60 degrees with the sun shining, the next it's barely 30 with a wind chill!

We have lived in this house for almost 34 years now - and a lot has been collected. I'm ready to get rid of so much, all those things you think "maybe some day" - I figure if some day hasn't come in the last 10 - 15 years, it's not coming!

Take care, hope you're having a good weekend.

Thanks for your post on my blog about Tom's family. I am in this Healthy Living Bible Study. We've gotten through all the healthy eating and chemicals in the products we buy - last week just happened to be about Stress and Forgiveness and turning things over to God. I decided to give it a try and I can honestly say that all the anger and frustration has lifted from my heart. I feel sad for them that they are all so clueless, but I can feel sad and go on with my own life! The power of prayer!!!

Thank you for your comments! Yes, it does take some time to forgive some people - I think it's those who just don't seem to ever stop and also just don't care if they are hurting you or not. But oh well, they do what they have to do and I can choose to let it go - which isn't always easy but seems to be the best thing for me!

Hope you're having a wonderful Easter day. We are leaving shortly for a light lunch with my oldest daughter - should be a good time.
