Tired of being overweight! on board to get in shape and back to horseback riding again! I've tried weight watcher, adkins, no-fat, phentermine. Would lose but put back on. This past year, was scheduled for a lapband, but at the last minute, realized it wasn't for me. I know I can do this. Friend told me about OverEaters and that was an eye-opener. My Goals:
I started my weight loss journey June 2009. @ 249 down to 207 on Dec 29,2010! Yeah! Slow going but steady. Managed to get thru holidays without losing too much control. Going to use xbox zumba to exercise this month.

My Program:
I am following a pre-lapband diet during the week, then portion size and low-carbs on weekends. typical Breakfast: hot tea, Atkins shake. Lunch: raw veggies, low-carb/hi-protein yogurt, fresh fruit. sometime a salad with low-fat dressing instead. Snack: Atkins shake. Dinner: cottage cheese w/fruit, atkins shake, veggies. or WW low-carb meal. or small grilled piece of meat/fish. Snack#1 sugar free popscicle, Snack#2 Weight Watchers chocolate Raspberry frozen treat.

Personal Information:
My husband Mike and me own an 80 acre farm, a dream of a life time. We bought the land and built a house, barn 3 years ago. Over the past 15 years, I've steadily picked up weight. Want to get back into camping with the horses again - so much fun and I miss it.

yeah! finally below 200 (not much but still below)! a milestone. Going to buy myself something not 1x. Tried on some clothes earlier this week, but didn't buy....waited till I hit this little goal. Going to be good this weekend so keep on track.

Been off work going to Cincy with Candace during radiation. only lost 1 lb but at least didn't gain over past 2 weeks!. Back to measuring portions! Going to really watch what I eat over weekend. Seem to be in better control during week when I work. Reviewed OA handouts....need to ask myself before each bite "am I still hungry or just eating because it's on my plate?" emoticon But I've had a real victory!!! I just bought 2 pairs of slacks and 2 jackets and 1 sweater from the 'Ladies' section and not the 'Women's section' . Yeah, they're size 16 but at least not 16W. Yes!!
