Tracking the Ptarmigan

Follow the tracks of a plump Alaska bird--grandmother, bookworm, fanatic knitter, water aerobics teacher--as she attempts to make shallower dents in the snow.

Other Information:
My favorite quote from Birdie, a Spark Person who lost 140 lbs: Know that for every day that you have stayed within your calorie limits, you have used a little of your fat stores.

The scale is only a guide. If you stayed within your calorie range, you did not deposit any new fat on your body. Tell yourself that the scale can sometimes hold on to extra water, leading you to think that you are not making any progress. Before you go to bed, pat yourself on the back and tell yourself, "I stayed within my calorie range today; therefore I did not gain any fat." Tell yourself that and stay on plan.

You can't believe that I'm just joining the Anchorage Team because it's not true.
Through some glitch of Spark People, it has added me as a new member after I viewed the team page yesterday, when in fact, I joined in 2007?

I think it's something to do with SP's new web page design ???

Thanks anyway and it's always nice to hear from you. emoticon
Great times on your swim aerobics!

Oh, yes! Good spotting! I DID think about the showers when I was contemplating the idea of dipping a toe in the water!
Have a great week, enjoy splashing and splashing about.

Yes there certainly was some screaming when I first started doing the Blitz Guss, now it's more of a whimpering and sniveling.
