On feeling bad after overeating, I've found it's more likely to change my behavior if I remember this bad feeling in the moment of temptation and decide calmly and kindly to avoid the behavior that brought it on than to use it against myself right after the event only. Ah, I just thought of a new blog--strategic guilt!
