My name is Wendy and I am a 30 year old mother of two boys looking to finally live the life that I have always wanted and deserved. Growing up I was always the biggest girl out of my friends and ate in an unhealthy way. In high school I played so many sports that no one would have guessed how much food I consumed, but of course it quickly caught up with me during college and now as a stay at home mother of 2.

I love exercising, especially running, which I am slowly getting back into after an injury. I ran a half marathon back in 2007 and I would LOVE to work my way back to running another one - hopefully much faster as I plan on being much lighter!

My Goals:
Overall Weight Goal: Lose 54 pounds by Nov. 21st

1st Mini Goal: Reach 180 by July 15th

Workout Goal: Gym 5 days a week (3-4 running days, 3 lift days, zumba 2 days)

My Program:
I plan to eat every 3 hours - lots of protein, less bad carbs (but I am not anti carb...might die w/o occasional bread!), healthy fats, lots of veggies.

Tracking my food intake and posting where everyone can see has worked in the past - I think this will be key to being successful!

Welcome to animal lovers. A great place to start is going through the spark points. it will show you everything available here on spark. my favorite are the trackers. the food tracker shows what your eating nutritionally and calories. the fitness tracker will show what you burn for calories. we do a monthly challenge on the team page every month. try the walking challenge. It starts slow and builds up to a 5k. By starting slow you're more likely to stick to the plan. Good luck! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
