I have struggled with my weight from the time I was a little girl. I am the typical girl with the overweight mother that tried to prevent her kids from getting the same problem....that always back fires. I had the "clean your plate" mentality as a kid and didn't learn the stop when full. I always thought of food as a reward, time filler, wonderful addition to my day...it is but there are consequences to food. They don't teach these things in school. Well, maybe they do now.

I have been with SP since January 2011 and have learned so much about what I need compared with what I want. I am one of those unfortuneate people doesn't require a lot of calories to maintain a 210 pound body. I am still figuring out the perfect amount and exercise ratio, but that will be life long.

Wish me luck, I would like to be 150 for Christmas 2011.

My Goals:
I am trying to become a better wife, mother and worker. There is no way a health worker should be unhealthy. I love to be active and want to feel more like "myself" in my own skin.

My Program:
Eating a well balanced diet with regular daily activity that is fit into my lifestyle.

I walk to work, play kinect, walk my dog and enjoy the outdoors.

Happy Friday-We made it to the weekend!

My daughter has a cold so of course she wanted hugs and now I have it too. She’s fifteen and so touchy –feely all of a sudden. She was opposite to my friends kids….she wasn’t as open with us until last year. My son is trying to take care of me while I am not feeling well—so sweet. I am slammed at work so the show must go on.

This weekend is my last weekend to pack for moving. I move on the 19th and still have so much to do. I’ve resulted to sitting things on the curb just to get rid of them.


What are your plans? How’d you do on your goals this week? I basically stayed on track…needed to exercise more.

Happy Monday!

It’s officially August. I already set my goals, benefits and decided how I will track my success this month.
Today is the first day of school for my kids (8th and 10th grade)

It is SunDay.

Hope you’ve had a good one. I had a meeting at work—

I ate dinner at a friend’s house today. I was picking around trying to find something “healthy” to eat and was just thinking about how this journey is not easy but well worth it. Dinner was good and I made good food choices.
There's no easy way out.
If there were, I would have bought it.
