Less will be More!

Well, for my birthday, I'm giving myself the gift of better health. I had started last year with Weight Watchers and the gym, but Plantar Fasciitis (probably spelled wrong) sidelined the gym and WW started off simple but rapidly felt constricting. The points they assign to nuts is nuts! So I went looking for something simpler and found this. So far I'm liking it, especially the very simple listing of calories, protein etc. It just makes sense and stays close to reality.

So far I'm liking it, especially the very simple listing of calories, protein etc. It just makes sense and stays close to reality.

What else? I was down about 20 pounds on that last round, gained maybe 5 back, and digging in again looking to take off about 18 more. I work from home and had really gotten very sedentary. I don't even have to walk to my car most days! And, I work for myself, so I work long hours, and additional challenge. So I just have to make ME just as important as my income, which is there to support me after all!

Goal is to lose this belly, so life will be more fun

I'm logging what I eat and do. I'm making sure to get in my protein, fruits, veggies, fiber and water. I'm starting with some basic exercise and will return to the gym next week.

I'm a 53 year old self employed architect, who sits on her can most of the work week and really needs to rediscover how much fun it is to walk and bike.
