WENDI'S PLACE

I enjoy quilting, coffee and friends. I spend most of my time involved with a quilting related activity. I no long enjoy cooking, but of course, I like to eat....that's why I'm here....LOL! I do not have pets any longer. Use to and I miss them, but they just don't fit into my lifestyle anymore. I am married and have three grown children, six granddaughters. None live close but we keep in touch.

Thank you so much for the goodie, Wendi.

I'm enjoying my time up here, and will probably be spending most of my time up here now. Now it's a matter of getting certain things up here that I like -- like my blender. I have a VitaMix and at $500 can't afford to have two, so I take it up here in the summer, down there in the winter. Whichever house I'm not in full time I use a regular one. And I have one scale I like better than the other, so I switch those with the season too. Stupid maybe, but I like to have my "favorites" at the place I spend the most time at.

Today I ordered a new refrigerator from Costco, they ended up the cheapest of all the places I checked. The one in Sun City quit making ice cubes -- my DH could care less, but I use ice all the time, but now I'm putting the brand new one at our nicer house in the mountains, and then will get the neighbor up here to move this one down to the Sun City house.

Well, I have bent your ear enough! lol Have a nice evening!
Hugs, Eve

I know it's probably confusing to most people who live out of state, but both of our homes are in Arizona. The one in Sun City is on the West side of Phoenix (as the city of Phoenix encompasses several smaller cities, probably about 10 or 15 total). So it is considered to be in the "Phoenix area"

The mountain home is only 65 miles from there, but about 60 miles into the drive you begin to climb drastically until you reach 5000 ft elevation, and that where the little town of Yarnell is situated. We are 30 miles West of Prescott and 30 miles East of Wickenburg. So it's the elevation that causes the big change in temperature. The home in the mountains is actually the nicer, and biggest of the two. We rebuilt after the fire of June 2013 when we lost our home to a forest fire, along with 127 other homes, and 19 firemen lost their lives also.

When we rebuilt we had the tile roof, stucco exterior finish on the home and granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, something I have always wanted.

Hugs, Eve

I tried to order one yesterday from the Spark website and it was $29.95 plus $5 shipping. But my order was declined. I emailed Spark and they told me it was my banks fault and my bank said it is Sparks fault. Spark did not get the order but my visa has two pending orders from Spark. Will have to wait a week because the bank said if they don't have any action within a week the charges are dropped from my account. Thanks for the information.
