I enjoy quilting, coffee and friends. I spend most of my time involved with a quilting related activity. I no long enjoy cooking, but of course, I like to eat....that's why I'm here....LOL! I do not have pets any longer. Use to and I miss them, but they just don't fit into my lifestyle anymore. I am married and have three grown children, six granddaughters. None live close but we keep in touch.

I am coming here from another plan and need to come down a few more lbs. I like this site and hope to learn to navigate it and join in the fun.

Other Information:
I have "dry eye" and have problems reading for long periods of time so I download books from the library onto my MP3 player. I enjoy mysteries along with most fiction.

Hi Wendi ,
I have apples lot ( that is not in the 3 day protein thing however )...Blueberies and whipped cream , strawberries with protein powder mixed in ....

Whipped cream is fine because it is so low in carbs . The kind in the can from Costco ...I think it's land o lakes.

Hi Wendi !

Actually the best way I have found to get rid of out of control sweet cravings is take 2 or 3 days and just eat all kinds of protein every few hours and the cravings go away after a few days and I am back in control.
I try not to eat anything processed generally because you are right sugar is in it all !

I cook ahead and take food with me wherever I go ...I have a large tupperware container with salad vegetables in the fridge and re-do it once a week . Everday I can put together a HUGE salad emoticon and just add Turkey or chicken ... so easy .

When I eat out I keep it basic. protein , a salad , vegetable and wine maybe .
then I get bored and eat like he rest of the world and start all over !
