About me:
I am a 5'2" 51 yr old mother of two big boys (20 and 22), and I work as a middle school teacher librarian (I love my job). I've been doing triathlon for about 7 years, and have completed two full Ironman Triathlons (Coeur d'Alene 2007 and 2009).

Reasons I want to lose weight:
-Bike and run faster
-Bike and run more comfortable
-Look like the athlete that I am. (I want to see my muscles!)
-Sense of accomplishment for reaching a long term goal
-Feel more attractive
-Fit back into cute clothes
-I feel better when I am not overeating

Thanks for your comment on my blog! Its ok, there's still some of July left. Your running is very inspiring. The podiatrist just cleared me to start running again so i'm going to get into it this weekend (very slowly! might redo c25k again)

I've finished just as you wrote your message :)
Wanted to just finish so didn't risk anything (have seen people suffering)
and slowly jogged in (6h) in 15.37.
Didn't run into technical difficulties on the bike but the swim was very crowded and aggressive, my slowest ever by far.
I'm happy with that, enjoyed every minute of IM, even the stormy bit on the bike, the journey was great, too.

    How are you doing?
I'm not losing weight at all but got some shape at least.
I'm thinking of doing another one or a marathon PB.

I see you 're doing great. Well done.
I love being active, life is not about sitting on a couch any more.
