Fit by Fifty

I turn fifty years old in May 2015. I have finally figured out how to change my lifestyle. Cooking 90% of the time, keeping a food journal, staying within my calorie/fat/protein/carb ranges, exercise 3x week. I am becoming healthy, energetic, and flexible. I am able to enjoy activities like Just Dance 2015 with my 9-year-old twin girls, bike rides with my family at the beach, hiking on mountain trails and other things I can't say here.

My Goals:
Being a good role model for my daughters.
Buying more life insurance at a reasonable rate before I turn 50
Wearing regular size womens clothing
Energetic enough to do the things I enjoy... racquetball, golf, dancing, basketball, hiking, and gardening

My Program:
Any type of exercise for 1 hour a day, every day. This can include cleaning, gardening, walking, Zumba, lifting weights, Just Dance 2015 with my girls, or anything I do rather than sitting on the sofa.

Making healthy food choices - practicing mindful eating - try new recipes

Remembering that I am a good person, and worthy of love whether I am fat or slender
