I've been here at SP for wow, maybe a few months now? I definitely feel better that I'm actually doing something, though I am trying to focus more on being healthy than being "thin". I am vegan and I love that I can get meal plans here that don't consist of two meals of only salad everyday! (lol) A girl can only eat so much salad ;)

My Goals:
Just tired of miscelleneous health problems keeping me down. I want to feel my age, not like an old lady!

My Program:
No more eating when I'm not hungry, and trying to work on taking on the treadmill more often.

Other Information:
I consider myself an artist of many interests. I'm particularly interested in jewelry-making, knitting, writing and scrapbooking, but I also paint and use pastels on occasion. I love working with kids, and currently work with teenagers with Autism.

I just read a cure for bad Mondays!

It said that when you're feeling groggy or foggy to sniff ground
sage for an energy boost. Research showed that sage aroma
suppresses the enzyme acetylcholinesterase that prevents the
brain's ability to feel alert and happy! Not only that, but aromatherapy
experts say sage can improve mental focus AND memory!

My personal suggestion is...fresh ground or a good brand of coarse
ground sage. The cheap stuff is very offensive to my nose.

You can't be happy all of the time; but you can focus your thoughts on happy things such as family, friends, job, hobbies, or whatever you find important.

Hi, it's been a while since I've stopped by your page to check on you so I thought I'd take a quick moment; how are things going for you?

I read somewhere that one lady stacked empty butter cartons on top of each other as she lost the weight so that she could see what it looked like. Now I picture every pound of my excess weight as a brick of butter; which is also pure fat. So any weight I lose, I mentally stack in the corner of my mind to remind me what it looks like.

Hey...Keep reminding yourself how hard you worked and that you deserve to lose for your efforts; and by all means, keep on keeping on!
