I am a 54 year old that three years ago began a journey of change. It all began with a bad knee which needed to be replaced. I have been obese all of my life and over the previous five years had had some health issues that caused some extreme weight gain. I blew up to 315 lbs and only being 5ft 2in I looked like humpty dumpty. I was told that I needed to loose 100lbs in order to have my knee replaced. It was unable to even get out of my chair to exercise. I had been athletic in my younger years and have a health degree so I knew that in order to loose the weight I have to decrease caloric input and increase caloric output. This was not going to happen because I could not move without severe pain. I one of the doctors agreed with me and told me that he would do the surgery, but expected me to lose the weight when I had recovered from the surgery. What a blessing. and so I began my journey.
The journey began and here I am today. I have lost 115 lbs, but am having difficulty losing the last 50 lbs. So here I am.
