A Lot of Weight to Lose

I'm a 22-year-old college student living in New Jersey. I learned about this site from an article in People.

I am hoping to lose 100 by the end of 2008, and I'd also like to be able to shop at regular stores instead of plus size stores.

I don't have much confidence in myself due to being overweight. I want to develop healthy habits (like getting 8 hours of sleep, exercising, eating healthier) so that I can lose the weight and be healthy. Losing weight is the best ...

My Goals:
My goals are to start exercising regularly, eat enough fruits and vegetables, and eat less calories and carbs (out of the carbs I do eat, I would like them to be more whole grains. I love Weight Watchers wheat bread!). I belong to Weight Watchers, and I also want to continue using this site.

My Program:
I'm trying to do a combination of Weight Watchers and this site. I've found that they complement each other well, because when I do well here, I tend to do well with my points. I like Weight Watchers because I can go to the meetings once a week and they are in person, but I also like having this site. I like how I can keep track of my protein, carbs, calories, cholesterol here, whereas with Weight Watchers it's just the points, and points are only calulated by fiber/calories/total fats.

Other Information:
I love mystery/suspense novels like Mary Higgins Clark. I have also started reading the Harry Potter books. For tv, I am a die-hard Supernatural fan.

I'm glad hear your week is going well! I'm doing the 90/10 Plan by Joy Bauer. I explain about in on my page over on the right hand side. In a lot of ways I think it's similar to weight watchers (balanced low fat meals and portion control). The concept is simple enough, I feel like I will be able to eat like this for life.

Keep going strong on your plan! It will be so worth it when you reach your goal!
