My Goals:
1. Walk at least 7 miles/week; aiming for at least 1 mile/day.
2. Goal to lose 70 plus pounds. Aiming for 2 pounds/week
3. Drink more water (aiming for 8 glasses/day

5. Log food intake/exercise daily
6. Goal: consistency

My Program:
Right now I'm walking about 2-3 miles a day, which is a huge change for me. It's been so helpful to log in what I eat and do, and then get immediate feedback on screen.

Personal Information:
I enjoy reading, knitting, volunteering time with local organizations (particularly in schools and art center), and church activities. I thrive when my world is filled with beautiful music, art. and the friendship of creative family and friends.

Cris Thanks for the congrats on my "sluggish day" blog. Thankfully I had a walking partner and we agreed that we could at least do a 1/2 mile. that sunshine fueled us to do the whole mile.

Sorry you were not able to get out and enjoy the day... perhaps setting aside a quick ten minute break might help renew your spirit. When giving to others, we need to remember to give to ourselves too. It is not always about sacrifice, it is about empowering, setting examples and living a great life.

I always wanted to go to Alaska. I have photos given to me by my husbands co-worker years ago. It is so beautiful there.

That is wonderful news that you are off the diabetic meds and the blood pressure meds are cut down. Great job you are doing. So proud of you. Keep doing whatever you are doing, girl. It is working for you. Woo Whoo!

Don't over do yourself in catching up. Pace yourself as much as possible.

Thank you for all you kindness. I am still having a difficult time. I can't believe my sister is gone. We were very close. Best friends. I know she is in heaven with the LORD. I still miss her. There are upsetting things going on with her family, too. I have been so absolutely knocked down by all of it. Some days I can't get out of bed I am so depressed. I am not functioning well either. I just exist. I am grateful for your prayers. I have been praying. This is a sorrowful and painful time. Some days I can't eat and others I emotional eat. I am not getting out and getting any exercise. Nothing interest me. I just sit and think about my sister and all she had to go through. Sleep evades me a lot and then I will oversleep to many hours. I am so out of my loop for statying fit daily. I just can't seem to get a grip on anything right now. I am so grateful to you.
