Be strong and healthy.

You can't out train a bad diet.
The weight is a side effect. My goal is to be strong and healthy and let the pounds fall where they may.
Don't forget how desperate you are to be free.
I want to change my ways and thwart my demon genetics for diabetes and heart disease.
I want to be able to move my body as long as I'm alive.
I want to be the athlete I am under these pounds.

My Goals:
I've got my BMI down below 30!!
I would like to lose another 10 pounds and then work at keeping it off for a while. Slow and steady!
Not perfection, but an improvement in the number of days I do well.

My Program:
Record what I eat.
Exercise intensely 3-4 times a week.
Weigh once weekly.
Eat one serving.

I think maintaining will be easy for me when (not if) i reach goal as I have already maintained my 25 pound loss for over a year now!

thanks for your comments today. I do worry that she'll be this way and worse as she gets older. But your experience is good to know about. Maybe, just maybe, she will gain skills early to help guide her through the tougher stuff that comes later. One can hope for the best anyway! I'll try to be optimistic!
