Up and Down. Always up and down. I have to get a little obsessed with my eating or I fall off the wagon. Once I start eating junk-food again, it may be 6 months before I can break away.

Being diagnosed with diabetes at age 43 was really scary and straightened me out for a while. I'm looking forward to getting back on track. It's a lot of work and time-consuming, but the energy you get from healthy living is amazing.

Oh, and one more thing--it's about time you updated your status; however, it's 6 days old now. Time to get on it again--aim for weekend updates if that's all you can do. It seems that's all I'm able to do at the moment! :) We can do it!!

Hey Gator--did you have a good week? I did in terms of numbers on the scale but I'd never tell you it was a healthy way of doing anything. The job is driving me--I'm not driving it. I ran this morning and at least I do have the weekends to get some exercise. Hoping things will settle in next week and I'll get home at a decent hour each day. We shall see. Let me know how you did!

Go baby, go! I'm with you and I expect to hear next week that you are back at Curves and walking daily. Keep the back safe but keep the body moving! I know you can do it. I've had a couple of good days. We run a 5K on Sunday but are heading out camping in a few minutes (never a good thing but it will have to be if I hope to run on Sunday!)

Okay, I get it. I've lost control since this camping thing started. I am attempting to stay the same until it ends and then get back into a routine that will allow what has been gained to be lost again. I'm sad that my camping control doesn't exist!
