Being diagnosed with diabetes at age 43 was really scary and straightened me out for a while. I'm looking forward to getting back on track. It's a lot of work and time-consuming, but the energy you get from healthy living is amazing.

Proud of you. One baby step at a time. My motivation's been waning since March Break and I'm not getting it back together. Though I run, that's all I'm doing. And the food consumption is out of control. My brain knows what to do but I don't seem to want it badly enough right now. Ugh...not giving up but not faithful either.

Just checked ticker -- yup, I'm all over the map. Can't get myself together lately so I'm up and down with the same old pounds. Sorry if it was confusing--it's just real. Got a good 5K in today though I was slow and wobbly. I'm attempting to focus on how I'm going to manage to get extra running in throughout the weekdays. Started back with the weights on Tuesday's storm day. FOR THE HEALTH OF IT!
