The Journey Continues.........

I am a mother of three almost grown kids. I have been a special education teacher for close to thirty years. I earned my masters and my National Board Certification. My husband and I built a beautiful home together starting with the sawing down of the trees to milling the lumber. With all these accomplishments I have constantly longed for a thinner and healthier body.....it is time to put my resolve toward my own life.

Personal Information:
Have been a sparker since January 2010. Have established a very regular exercise pattern although have lost few pounds. This year with the tracker and support I plan to continue with the weight loss.

Hello there! i have been gone for way too long, but I saw a comment from you, on my page, from way back in May! Thanks for stopping by, and sorry for my late response. What kind of class do you have this year? How is it going? Last year my SDC class was pretty wild. I had about 5 very distressing behavior problem kids. That was half my class. This year things are much calmer, but still, never a dull moment. It is amazing just how time does fly. I am back on Spark, and committed to sticking it out. I joined a gym and got a personal trainer. I am hoping that will help me stay motivated. I see that you like joining challenges. Good for you. That takes a good amount of motivation and drive. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the support. I have about 21 pounds to loss so I know I have to do a lot of work to accomplish this goal. I should not say that because so far I have lost 15 pounds. I have to strive for at least another 15 pounds.
