My name is Sarah. Currently, I work at a local urban high school as the school records clerk, and though it can be stressful and a lot of work, I love it. I, also, am in college, working towards a transfer AA degree, on the track to teach high school English. I am set to graduate this fall (2012), but this semester may push my graduation date back to the spring (2013). I am happily married, going on 6 years in August, but we're missing some things. First, we never had a wedding, we ran to the courthouse and then to Disney World for a weekend that was intended to mark the beginning of the planning of our wedding that would take place a year later in December, but we had to close our business and had to cancel for financial reasons. Secondly, children. We want children, but we know that right now is not the right time. My income is dismal, remember school records clerk. I work full-time and take three classes each semester. So, graduating from college is very important right now. We plan to have a vow renewal to celebrate 10 years of marriage in March of 2016 at our favorite place, Walt Disney World, reliving a different version of our 2 day 'Disney'moon. But, I have to finish college first to be able to afford it and also to have something more to celebrate. Once I am finished with college, and we have our vow renewal, we can finally get to something I have always wanted, kids.
My goal is to lose 20 to 30 lbs to look better, feel better and fit in the wedding gown that has been hanging in my closet until the day we can finally walk down the aisle. I have a closet with boxes of expensive clothes that I bought before I put on weight and cannot wait to fit back in them. My husband is joining me with this goal, he wants to lose twenty lbs himself. My evil plan is to include my best friend in on this as well ;D

My Goals:
I want to go back down to a size close to where I was when I met my husband. I have gained thirty pounds and my genes will keep on adding and I do not want that to happen. I am fine in maintaining where I am, but I am afraid that I will end up putting more on when I get bored.

My Program:
Watching what I eat, a routine walking program and visits to my neighborhood's fitness center is how I plan to get where I want to be, weight-wise. I have bought some of the Biggest Loser recipe books to help us along.

Personal Information:
We bought a house almost two years ago and gardening has become a weekly exercise for me. I love to watch DIY network on the weekends and crime dramas and some other shows throughout the week while relaxing. We love to travel, just can't afford to with college, saving for our vow renewal and children.
