Focusing on the Changes to get the Results

I have lost over 100 pounds from my highest non-pregnant weight. I am thrilled with my progress and want to get to a healthy weight according to chart and graphs.

I have been overweight practically my whole life. I've tried over and over to break out of my emotional eating. I've gotten frustrated in the past when it didn't happen quickly enough. This time, I'm in it for good! I will get to and maintain a healthy weight! I will be a postive, powerful role model for my daughter!

My Goals:
I want to be a healthy, active role model for my daughter. I want her to see that anyone can do anything they truly decide to do IF they want it badly enough. The only way to teach my daughter that is through example. I'm the mama....she'll do what I show her...NOT what I tell her!

My Program:
I am working my way off of following the Nutrisystem program. I have achieved great success using it and am now working towards finding a balance without relying on prepackaged meals or making foods off limits. I want balance!

Personal Information:
I'm 52 years old, married with a 12 year old daughter. I'm a 2nd grade teacher, and live in a suburb of Houston, Texas.

Hi there, here is the recipe for the Crock Pot Pesto Ranch Chicken Thighs "S"

8 boneless chicken thighs
6 ounce jar of pesto (pesto is strong so I use a couple tablespoons)
1 package of ranch dressing seasoning mix (I use 1/2 packet)
1/2 cup chicken broth

Place all in the crockpot, stir it up a bit and cook on high setting for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Yummy!
