I came within ten pounds of reaching my goal of 127 pounds in spring of 2009. However, a new relationship and factors beyond my control sent me whizzing back up to 140 some pounds.

I started a working out again for some months and slowly started to trim up again.

In Fall 2009, I moved to a foreign country thousands of miles away from my family and friends to by with my BF. The stress of figuring out how to eat vegetarian in a new society plus emotional eating and stress really killed me. I didn't have a scale for 13 months and just fondly assumed I had put on a little weight.

I weighed myself as soon as I got to my parent's house and discovered I had ballooned to a whopping 170 pounds and had just been in complete denial about it. I seriously had not noticed until that moment. That was a real low point.

Now, I have moved to yet another country and am trying to get settled in and deal with my weight. I have gone back to being vegan and am trying to swim for 45 minutes 3 to 5 times a week.

As of 1/13/2011, I weigh 162 pounds.

Now I just need to keep up my momentum and stay healthy for good this time.

As of 5/16/2011, I weigh 154 pounds.

I have finally found a cheap gym to join and I have gotten a job where I spend all my work hours on my feet walking. Now I am just turning my sights on my eating habits and I should be bikini ready in no time!

My Goals:
I just want to keep eating healthy and exercising, because I know that if I don't watch out the weight will keep piling on and one day I will be truly miserable.

My Program:
Right now I have no transportation other than my two legs. I work as a waitress at a large outdoor patio. I am hoping to get a pedometer so I can log my steps.
I also have found a gym where I hope to get in 40 minutes on the elliptical twice a week.
I am vegan and I am retraining myself to meticulously track my calories.
I am also trying to confront my self-esteem issues and how that ties into my attitudes towards food.
