I am a BORN-AGAIN, SPIRIT-FILLED Charismatic Christian with FAITH in God and His Word! I pray in tongues daily.
I BELIEVE: God loves & cares about me and all in my life;
that God saves, heals & delivers me when I need Him to; that
HE cares more about relationship than perfect performance &
spending time with God & His Word improves my performance.

I BELIEVE that what God does for me, He will do for you!
I thank God for good times in my life and, when times are bad, I thank Him that He will take care of me and see me through.

BLESSING FOR VISITORS:
Lord, may everyone who visits here or passes through receive a special touch from Your Heart.
May they know that they are loved, they are valued, they are never alone, and that Your arms are always open.
Help all to comprehend that no matter what kind of mountain they are facing in their own lives - from a mountain of obesity to a mountain of depression, whatever it is -- with You they can move those mountains.
May they go their way knowing that with You all things are possible.
Be blessed today! :)

The home we had before was one George had purchased in 2006, long before I knew him, it was about 1700 sq.ft., not designed too practical for our use as it had a living room and a den -- for two people with no kids, it is stupid to have both -- hence we never used the living room.

It was also a manufactured home, which means it was like a mobile home and they put it together on your lot. So it's about 3 feet up in the air, they put siding around it, but you need a ramp or steps to get to the doors. We did have a one-car garage, and that was a ground level of course. I love granite counters and tile roofs on houses, especially here in this hot climate we have (it's a fire preventive measure for the tile roof). But a manufactured home does not have a strong enough base for either the granite counters or the tile roof -- so they could not even be added.

The new home is stucco with a tile roof, and we have granite counters in the kitchen, the island in the kitchen and in both bathrooms. It is also just over 1800 sq.ft. and has a great room, so not really any wasted space. We are thinking we might just use it as our primary home and stay up there full time. A bit cold in the winter, but not that bad. We would eventually sell our bigger home in Glendale, AZ (about 2400 sq.ft.)

Pictures will be ready in about a week or so I think.

Hugs, Eve

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Today and yesterday were big "get things done" days, as Sunday all my new furniture was delivered up to the new home. And today the electrician and plumber arrived, respectively, and the first hung all the fans, put up the security lights and other little odds and ends, and the plumber installed the faucet on the kitchen sink, and installed both sinks/faucets in each bathroom. So right now, other than not having a stove, we have everything in and working. The stove would have been in, but due to more mistakes than I even want to think about, we ended up with the wrong power cord, 3-prongs, whereas my new stove needed 4-prongs. So..... I have the right one in my car now, and will take it up after dropping off my kitty at the Vet's.

It's amazing to see the furniture in, carpets in, most of the window blinds are installed. But I can't put any furniture in front of any of the electrical plugs due to the final inspection hasn't been done yet.

Soon, soon - and I'll be moving in! WooHoo! Hugs, Eve
