IT IS ALL ABOUT THE HERE AND NOW!!

Looking back , I have lost 100 pounds and looking forward I would like to lose 30 more BUT neither of those things are the here and now and to be honest that is all we have ...is the here and now. This time , this moment , this chance to live and enjoy. It has taken a longer time to regain my physical strength after having surgery and devoting the last 4 months to finishing my Associates degree. Instead of impatiently waiting for the future stronger "me " to arrive - I am loving the here and ...

This time , this moment , this chance to live and enjoy. It has taken a longer time to regain my physical strength after having surgery and devoting the last 4 months to finishing my Associates degree. The here and now me has brought me to this moment in time and I am going to appreciate the body that I am in. This is the body that has completed 4 half marathons, countless 5k's, assisted other friends in training for races, gave birth to 2 children, and drives me to and from work 5 days per week . This body has served me well and I must pay homage to my body instead of looking at myself in disgust for what it is not. Each morning I will stand alone with my body , look at myself and proclaim that I love my body ...it has served me well and I LOVE ME!!

Graduated June 2014 with my Associates in Liberal Arts- summa cum laude. Transferring to Rutgers University Fall 2014

Finally found the job that I have been looking for since 2002 and I am loving it.
