I AM BACK! TRAINING FOR MY FAVORITE DISTANCE - 13.1 MILES

I have needed something to kick me into training harder so on Christmas Day I signed up for a half marathon on April 12, 2015! I AM STOKED!!
I love 13.1 miles - long enough to get into stride (unlike a 5K), a stretch for my conditioning and always ends in a medal. YES. The next 4 months are going to be a challenge both mentally and physically, but I am ready for it. I need it right now. I physically need to know that I can get back in half-marathon shape and complete the darned thing. ...

Graduated June 2014 with my Associates in Liberal Arts- summa cum laude. Transferring to Rutgers University Fall 2014

Finally found the job that I have been looking for since 2002 and I am loving it.

Good morning my SparkFriend!!! Just stopping by to say Hey! And to let you know that I'm still on this journey with you! I'm finally 5 pounds away from my goal but now my goal has changed from the number of pounds on the scale, to the percentage of fat on my body. I'm starting a journey to a lower body fat percentage. Yes, that's my goal right now. You may remember my blog about getting my body fat tested a few months ago, well, I'm getting it retested in Jan. Sooo, I'll be doing my ST than cardio, I'll get leaner (at least that's the plan) but the numbers on the scale may not go down, they may even go up. I'll deal with that when and if it happens. Anywho, that's the long and short of it! Happy Autumn emoticon emoticon
