God knows I want to break free...

Fitness Minutes: 2,780

My Goals:
My short-term weight loss goal is to get to 170 by the holidays. The last time I weighed 170 lbs I felt and looked pretty good, and wore a size 8-10. Then I hope to try to lose ~20 more after the new year (2012) begins! I'm 5'7".

Monthly Goals:

SEPTEMBER:
*Run 5k, from to start to finish with no walking.
*Maintain strength-training as faithfully as I have been to cardio.
*Resume my mostly-vegan ways.

OCTOBER:
*Run my first 5K on October 15th!
*Back to my wedding weight (185lbs) in honor of our 5th anniversary!

NOVEMBER:
*Get as near my end-of-year weight goal as possible before the holiday season sneaks up on me!
*Begin training for 10K

DECEMBER:
*Run 10K
*Just don't gain any weight. :)

JANUARY:
*FOCUS ON TRAINING FOR HALF MARATHON!

FEBRUARY:
*RUN HALF MARATHON with my bestie!er


My Program:
My body seems to respond well to limiting my animal products, but I don't want to label myself something I'm not. I eat vegan a lot of the time, but some times I don't.

I'm also currently working through an Ease into 10k program. I'd like to run a 10k in October and a half marathon in February!

My best friend has been a runner most of her life. We're hoping to run the Disney Princess Marathon together in February, 2012.
