Just got notified that I have been here for 60 days. Don't feel so isolated with such a number of people offering support, understanding, friendship, and companionship. I have two granddaughters and hope to live long enough to see them both walk down the aisle.
I feel that I am not doing enough to reach my goals. I get very depressed and have great difficulty with exercise due to my medical challenges but keep on trying within my limitations.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I live near Lake Michigan in my own condo. I have been here a year and have still not been able to walk to the lake. My name is Rhoda.
Just wanted to say that anyone can achieve what they want if they want it enough. I began working on my Masters degree at age 64 and graduated with a 3.57 average. The impossible just takes a little longer.
WELCOME to the Friends In Recovery group that we both belong to! I am the new Leader of the team and am grateful for another friend in recovery.
You're never alone in this journey of ours and any obstacle that may come your way. I am right by your side walking along this journey with you. I'm sending you lots of Missouri support, encouragement and recovery hugs. Have a Sparktacular Day!
