WantsToRunAgain

Two years after I had my first child I started running by accident (2006). I was walking 5 times a week during that time, and one day I realised that I could run too. And that was it. Running was my favourite exercise. I ran three 5ks and one 9k races during that time, and I was also following Sparkpeople and counting my calories.

However, in September 2007 I had a very severe case of glandular fever. I was hospitalised for 5 days and I thought I was going to die. I was not able ...

Running was my favourite exercise. I ran three 5ks and one 9k races during that time, and I was also following Sparkpeople and counting my calories.

However, in September 2007 I had a very severe case of glandular fever. I was hospitalised for 5 days and I thought I was going to die. I was not able run again for a year. Whenever I tried I got sick. After that I quit trying, gained some of the weight back, and deleted my membership with Sparkpeople. Then, in 2010, I had my second daughter.

I always wanted to start running again. Always! Now, I am really motivated to lose the weight I gained again, be able to run again, and be healthier again.

I am looking forward to be able to run my first 5k in 5 years. Hopefully in May. :-)
