Here I am!

Hi there. I'm married and have two children and live in Pittsburgh. I am, also, a high school teacher. I enjoy dancing, cooking, and reading.

Since April 2011 I have lost 22 lbs. I want to lose another 20. I've gone back and forth from wanting to lose more and totally motivated to swinging the pendulum the other way and say sometimes, "This is too hard. Just let me be!"

I have cut out starch and sugar which at first was difficult. I then revisited how I was going about it and thought I'd try again. Second time around is not as bad. I've, also, started to read food labels watching the fat and sugar contents.

My Goals:
My goals are to lose weight and keep it off. Total weight loss I want is 40 lbs. In doing this I hope to become a healthy eater.

1. Do WiiFit everyday in addition to walking.

2. Cut out starch and sugar. This is hard. I love love love pasta and bread.

3. Use the SP cookbook for snack ideas.

My Program:
1. Snacking on fruits & veggies.

2. Not eat after 8 pm.

3. Have a cup of broth before a meal.

4. Exercise daily.

5. Weigh myself weekly.

6. No sugar. Including Equal, Spelnda & Sweet n Low

7. No starch.

8. Log what I eat.

9. No coffee - only green tea.

10. No dairy except for plain Greek yogurt.






Personal Information:
High school foreign language teacher, married 18 years, and have two kids.



Other Information:
I enjoy reading, dancing, music, walking, computer and wii games, and cooking.

Hi! Just stopping by to say hello! I see we're on a lot of the same SparkTeams, and I just read your blog about re-starting. I'm re-starting, too! The important thing is, don't give up. I LOVE your kittens OMG soooo precious ..... Id love to have a kitten but unfortunatley my husband grew up in a house with 7 cats and 2 dogs, so he doesnt want any cats? We have a Husky dog so I lost that battle hahhaa
