Starting over....with a little help.

I'm a stay-at-home mother of two boys. I've struggled with weight my whole life and hope to make a life change in order to lose weight and keep it off.

In Feb 2008 I found sparkpeople and began my weight loss journey. I lost 100 lbs in 8 months. But by October 2008 I developed thyroid disease and have, by May 2011, regained all the weight I lost. My Goals:
May 2011---to stop drinking carbonated beverages, diet or otherwise, to get ready for surgery.

June 10, 2011---begin liquid diet for 2 weeks!

My Program:
Eat low-calorie, low-fat foods, and with the help of Spark pages, count my caloric intake throughout the day, journaling EVERYTHING I eat.

Begin exercising again.
Recumbent bike and walking. Some weights.

Personal Information:
I've been married for 19 years. We have two boys and two dogs. I attended Texas A&M (Whoop! Gig'em Aggies!) and currently reside in Texas.

Other Information:
I LOVE to do crafts. I cut and paint decorative pieces from wood, I do mosaics, I work with clay, I like to candle and soap make, scrapbooking and card making, and I make all kinds of homemade clays, doughs, paints, etc. type projects to do with my kids. I enjoy gardening and I love to read when I can find the time.

GREAT JOB!!! i to lost my 100lbs rather fast i lost mine in 5 months i how ever just cut my cals and lots of working out but i have maintianed the past yr i still would love to lose another 25 so it think it is time to get on those last 25 :)

Hi I just got done reading your blog and have a question. Did you have a set calorie amount that you ate while working out that much?? I am kinda on the fence about how much I should eat while working out so hard. I work off between 2500-3000 calories a week and eat about 1700 calories a day. But I am not losing. I walk about 3 miles to 5 miles every other day and do strength training. Thanks in advance.
