My New Healthy Lifestyle

I'm a first time mom of an 18 month old. It's hard to find time to exercise, but am committed to working out on my lunch hours. My goal is to attempt to run 1 half marathon this year with my best friend.

My Goals:
My weight loss goal is to lose 50-60lbs by the end of the year.
My fitness goal is to run 1 half marathon by the end of this year.

My Program:
I'm reducing my daily calorie intake to 1,200-1,500.
I'm walking a mile everyday on my work breaks and I'm walking/running everyday for 40-60 minutes. I'm starting out slow, but I hope to be up to 60 minutes soon.

Personal Information:
I'm a first time mom to an 18 month old little boy. I want to lose weight not only for myself, but also for him. I want to be a good role model for him when it comes to healthy eating and being active.

going to bed early is my best defense - and it has a double benefit - not only do I keep myself from bingeing (which the late night snacking sometimes turns into for me) but I also get the weight loss benefit of getting enough sleep (WIN-WIN!)

how have you been doing? I have been thinking about you a lot lately because of the status about your grandfather - hope you are doing okay

Way to go!!!!! I am going to walk 5 miles this evening with my best friend. Are you still doing the 30 day shred? I did that for the first time this morning. Jillian is CRAZY wow what a workout!!!
