I will achieve this goal!

Trying again for the umpteenth time. As far as I can tell, all diets (for me) are good for 30 pounds, then I get lost. NOT ANYMORE! Here's for more weight to be lost.

So here I am again! 2011 Never quit starting, right?

My Goals:
I am looking to go from 260.5 to 135. Doing Atkins as they say. All is well so far. My current goal is:
10% loss=26#@234.5 Done - 9/1/11

10% loss=23.5#@211.5
Done/surpassed 8/4/12

10% loss=20#@184

My Program:
Living La Vida Atkins.
I love low carbing and I am so pleased that I have finally found the missing link in my life.

I commit to developing myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that will impair my mental growth or physical health.

Personal Information:
I'm 46 and have had weight problems since I was 8. Started my first diet when I was 12. I lost 30 pounds. As a reward, my grandma bought me a pair of the coveted "Gloria Vanderbilt" jeans, the ones with the swan on the pocket. I may even still have them.
Since then, it's always about a 30# loss and then I go uphill again. I am searching for why I continue this pattern.
So, I have been overweight (with a few spots here and there)my entire adult life. I have only once thought that I "looked good". It was in 1986 and I weighed 127# for one day. It's the lowest I have ever been. I didn't think I look the way I wanted then, just good. Now, just to be under 200# would be great.

Other Information:
I love to garden and sew. Hanging with my kids is the top most priority though. They are really awesome kids. Somewhere along the way, I managed to do something right with them and the help of my husband and family.

I saw where you need support. Me too. I think we may have just lost a little motivation and we could get it back if we stay patient and lose those first 3 or 4 lbs to get the momentum going. Let's start a challenge between the two of us. Say, lose those 4 lbs by June 1st. The winner could give the other one the biggest Spark Goodie on the Luxury list of goodies. We could start by drinking our 8 cups of water per day. Then next week we could add another goal. Let me know if you want to do this. I think it will help. Keep Sparking.

Yes, I am gaining some weight back and I am needing to revamp and get back on track with this weight. It's just 3 or 4 lbs, but that adds up over the months. May is a good month as it's my birthday and I will reach a milestone this year, the old 60! So, must watch the health and things that keep you young, even at my age LOL. How have things been with you? How the Blue Heeler? Let me hear from you.

I see in the weekly teams' announcement e-mails that you are very active. I am a strict Atkins dieter; and I am searching for others who are committed. It is a bit hard to tell from your assortment of teams, but I can tell you are a LC'er! If you are committed to the Atkins Diet, I wanted to personally invite you to check out the Atkins team page and consider if you'd be interested in seeing if a small group of us can really make a go of the team and of helping each other lose weight. Right now there is only one active thread -- we won't be hard to find!

Thanks for the greeting. I had a productive day both in the house house cleaning and I had brought some work home with me so I got some of that done too. I see from your status you took some leisure time. Way to go that is always good for you. Have a great afternoon and night.
