Which reminded me of a question I forgot to ask you...Are you getting enough sleep?
Also, eliminating the sugar for now can really change your life. If you try to keep your blood sugar relatively stable it's amazing how you won't get tired like you used to. Even in the afternoon 'slump'. (But it includes eating frequent meals, hopefully with a little bit of protein.)
I am a sugar addict and I love to eat it even though it makes me feel like hell! I bit the bullet and swore off sugar (never thought that was possible) and my life changed because I had SO much more ENERGY.
Of course, life isn't perfect and I'm back "on" sugar -- I've had a lot of stress lately But I'm looking for help from people who have lost a lot of weight about how they manage stress each moment as it happens. It's impractical to leave and go for a walk whenever I feel stressed out.
IT's CLEAR how much you love COFFEE WALLY...I didn't think anyone could love it more than me!! Is it possible for you to NOT cut out caffeine yet and first eliminate most sugars -- because caffeine may not be your problem?

Ahh, yes, the media-free meal. We'd gotten in a bit of a habit of reading or watching TV or a Netflix while we ate. I want to be more mindful about eating--to enjoy what we've cooked and-gasp-converse while we eat. So that's what I mean.
So good to have your presence on the message boards! I find being active in the SP community really helpful in reaching my goals.
