2012 Update - I am the healthiest that I have been in a long time and my Spark is shining bright.
WhY?
I have been putting on and losing 20+ lbs over the past couple of years. I would do really good, but always let myself settle back into "Easy" and allowed myself to accept the excuses that I would make. You know ~ the too busy and not enough time stuff. It really came down to not loving myself enough - I put everyone else before myself and would feel guilty if I did take time for me. I mean I could barely use the bathroom with out having a little one around ~ how in the world was I suppose to workout? On top of that I would beat myself up for gaining weight and not having any energy. I am changing that - I have made a lifestyle change ~ not a quick fix. I am in this for me and sharing that with my family makes it even better!

What Clicked - I am trying to download some picture from my camera and the memory on my computer is next to nil. I decide I really need to go through and clean up my pictures. So I start scanning through and deleting...deleting ones that are blurry, ones that are similar, and ones of me. I realized that I didn't like any of the pictures that I was in. How did I get here? I had been unhealthy for so long I had gotten comfortable - yet I wasn't comfortable with the way I looked or felt.

I realized that I had deleted years of memories because I wasn't happy with how I was living my life. My kids would probably wonder if their mother ever went on vacation with them. No more deleting - I am loving me and my life. The changes I am making are not only physical but mental. I can now look at those pictures from before and be proud of who I am becoming.

    I'm a bit late but still want to give you A big hello and welcome to Sparks. I hope your journey here will be a blessing to you. I have almost been here a year and I'm still loving it. There is a lot of info you will recieve and friends waiting to be made to help encourage you along the way. Try not to let this place overwhelm you. It will take a couple of weeks before you feel like you know what your doing. No question is a dumb question. We all had to ask a lot of them. Stay focused, it is a long journey. I do hope you will stay here for the long haul. It's one we are doing together. If you need anything just let me know.
