This is Me on my way to becoming what I can be

I work too much and play too little but I love cooking and apparently still haven't got the eating bit right. Exercise was not really my forte but I love riding my bike when the weather is right and I am in the right frame of mind. The dark mornings and evenings of winter used to depress me until I discover (and got addicted) to cross country skiing. Now I want more than ever to get fitter every year. I still thrive on long warm sunny days and try to feel better and reduce my stress levels ...

Thanks for your comment on my feed! I was surprised to hit the 25 on the wheel! That so seldom happens! I think you should wait till after you get your glasses to switch your license. I hope hubby doesn't have to wait in line too long at the Driver's License Bureau! Last time I renewed mine in person, I was in line over an hour! emoticon

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I had wondered if the added weight was putting stress on my knees, I read somewhere about how each pound of weight puts XX amount of added stress on the knees. I sure don't need that. I am pretty sure that if I had not dropped the weight, I would be using a cane, walker or even wheelchair today. Because if my knees hurt this much at 180 lbs., what would it be like at 328 lbs.? It will be interesting to see if there is an improvement as I get closer to my 150 lb. goal. Sure hope it does!

You need to go to Fredericksburg and stay at least a week to look around! I love it here! We had dinner at The Auslander restaurant, it was delicious!
